Promotion Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all participants entering the King of Wors Double Deal Consumer Promotion (“Competition”) organised by Sausage Saloon South Africa (“Sausage Saloon” or “the Promoters”). By participating in this Competition, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs. Please read them carefully before entering.

1. Promoters:
   1. This King of Wors Double Deal Consumer Promotion (“Competition”) is organised by Sausage Saloon South Africa.
2. Eligibility:
   1. This Competition is open to residents of South Africa aged 18 years and older.
   2. Participants must purchase the King of Wors Double Deal promotion at store level and share their picture on social media to qualify.
   3. Employees of Sausage Saloon and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
   4. Participants must possess a valid South African Identity Document or Passport.
   5. Legal entities are not eligible to participate.
3. Competition Period:
   1. The Competition will run from 27 February 2026 to 30 April 2026.
   2. Entries received after this period will not be considered.
   3. Customers may enter as many times as they wish.
   4. The promotion is available at participating stores only.
   5. While stocks last.
4. How to Enter:
   1. Purchase the King of Wors Double Deal (2 x Jumbo King Wors Hotdogs for R99.00) at a participating store.
   2. A maximum of three (3) sauces and/or toppings are permitted per deal.
   3. Share a photo of your King of Wors Double Deal on Social Media and tag @sausagesaloon to enter the Competition.
5. Prizes:
   1. March Prize:
      1. Cash vouchers valued at R5,000 plus a Sausage Saloon hamper.
      2. Participants must share a photo of their King of Wors Double Deal purchased at store level on social media to qualify.
      3. Only one (1) voucher and hamper per lucky draw winner.
   2. Main Prize – April:
      1. Cash vouchers valued at R7,500 plus a Sausage Saloon hamper.
      2. Participants must share a photo of their King of Wors Double Deal purchased at store level on social media to qualify.
      3. Only one (1) voucher and hamper per lucky draw winner.
6. Winner Selection:
   1. One (1) lucky draw winner will be selected per month during the Competition Period by means of a random draw conducted by an independent auditor.
   2. The draws will take place as follows:
      1. March Prize: On or before 15 April 2026 – one (1) winner.
      2. April Prize: On or before 15 May 2026 – one (1) winner.
   3. Each winner will receive one (1) prize only, as described in Section 5.
   4. Winners will be contacted within fourteen (14) days of the draw via telephone, SMS, or social media and will be required to complete a verification process, including providing identification, contact details, delivery address, and proof of purchase if requested.
   5. Winners must sign and return an acknowledgement of prize and indemnity form within five (5) working days, failing which a replacement winner will be drawn.
   6. Prizes will be delivered by courier within twenty-one (21) working days after verification. Two delivery attempts will be made, after which the prize will be forfeited and a new winner selected.
7. Prize Terms:
   1. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
   2. The Promoters shall not be liable for any defects, malfunctions, or loss of the prize after handover.
   3. The winner is responsible for ensuring they are available to accept delivery of the prize.
8. Publicity & Use of Content:
   1. By entering, participants grant the Promoters permission to use their photos, names, and social media posts for promotional purposes across various platforms.
   2. The Promoters may require winners to be photographed, filmed, or featured in promotional material. Winners may decline participation.
   3. Sausage Saloon reserves the right to use Competition content in future advertising and marketing campaigns.
9. Data Privacy:
   1. Participants’ personal data will be handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
   2. Participants consent to their personal data being used for Competition verification and prize distribution.
   3. Sausage Saloon’s Privacy Policy can be accessed on the official website at www.sausagesaloon.co.za.
10. Disqualification and Forfeiture:
    1. Entries made using automated systems or fraudulent methods will be disqualified.
    2. If a participant fails the verification process, does not respond to winner notifications within forty-eight (48) hours, or refuses the prize, they will be disqualified and a replacement winner will be drawn.
11. Liability:
    1. The Promoters shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the Competition.
    2. The Promoters are not responsible for technical issues with social media platforms that may affect entry submissions.
    3. Sausage Saloon reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition in exceptional circumstances beyond their control.
12. Governing Law:
    1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
    2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
